Welcome to Thrive Pilates!
I am Pippa Carey.
In 2015, having spent 7 years actively participating in local Pilates classes I trained to become an Instructor and I have been teaching ever since. I completed my training with STOTT PILATES®, qualifying to teach Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac and Stability Chair. I now run busy Matwork classes in and around the Hanneys and in Longworth in Oxfordshire.

STOTT PILATES is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Pilates promotes mind-body awareness through dynamic exercises which benefit your body’s core strength, stability and flexibility while focusing the mind. The basic principles of Pilates encourage working the body from the inside outwards by emphasising the use of deep stabilising muscles which act as the ‘powerhouse’ to allow efficient and safe movement.
My genuine love of the mind-body element of Pilates is the thread that runs through all of my classes and teaching techniques. By joining one of Thrive Pilates’ classes you could benefit from mobilising and strengthening your body whilst finding calm and focus for your mind too.
